I took a few days off in the last days and today I was very happy to read that jCore has been included in the Softpedia database on April 24 and not just that we were included but we received the "Softpedia Pick Award 5/5"! yep, that's right, our first award of recognition! Thanks Softpedia! Looking forward for even more awards in the future now that the ice has been broken :)

Dutch, French, Persian translations and an Important Change!
I'm happy to announce the availability of another three translations, Dutch by Bram Kortleven, French by David Brisebois and Persian by Foroshandegan Developer's Group which came in just a few days ago and there are two more in the pipe that I know of and should be available soon. Thank you guys for the commits and keep them coming!
Also there is a big change going on in the GIT version of jCore that I would like to point out especially for developers as it affects all versions and also the API.
UPDATED: Fri Mar. 4, as of today jCore server is compatible with older jCore client releases just like before!
jCore License Changes
It is time for a revise of jCore license as demand is going up and more and more developers/companies would like to have more freedom on the codings they do and right now the GPL only license isn't giving all the freedom needed. We already have a plan for these changes but would like to hear your opinions to be sure that once updated you will be able to use jCore where and how ever you want. Please read on and let us know your thoughts.
Romanian, Turkish translations and Status report on 0.8
What a great month! We are close to 200.000 overall downloads (more than 90.000 downloads just this month) and the downloadable translation feature is going also great! We are happy to share with you the first two complete translations which are Romanian by Soreen and Turkish by Erkan and can now be downloaded for free. A quick status report is also here for the next release which should be out in a month and then I can promise we will start something that you all will like.
jCore 0.7.1 Released!
I'm pleased to announce the updated version of the new release which is mainly due to the much requested downloadable translation feature. Also this release includes some fixes and a more user friendlier work flow. The user permissions section is also updated which is now a lot easier to use.
Feedback was great on prev release, easily passed the overall 100,000 downloads, we have more and more supporters on the forum and the downloadable translations are on the way. You can now even earn money with your jCore skills!
