Projects have to evolve in order to keep it in shape and to answer the webmasters requirements. I have the following ideas for further releases. They are not ordered by importancy but randomly as they popup in my head so any of them may come to the next release. 

• Calendar Module first with only posts like an archive section but would like to extend to an appointment module.
• Content keywords cloud for all posts or posts within a menu/submenu for e.g. {posts}keywords{/posts}.
• Voting / Poll Module.
• phpBB Forum integration
• For posts add Tell a Friend, Print and Copy as pdf
• Add option to ban free e-mail accounts google.com, yahoo.com from signing up
• Database backup system for the admin with restore possibilities
• Ticket system module for bug tracking
• Private messaging module for members
• Live help/chat module
• Create our own Image/File browser for CKEditor with lightbox links for thumbnails
• Ban Module by IP/Country selections/range using .htaccess file
• Submit new site to major search engines module
• Limit logins to a defined ip
• Allow creation of Predefined Blocks like for menu, ads and so on
• Allow content codes to use custom limits, for e.g. {posts}menu/2{/posts} would only show 2 posts from "menu".
• Add option for favorites in the admin this way allowing users to define their favorite places using the adminpath.
• XML Sitemap to use at google's webmaster account.
• Digg it extension for posts.
• Rewrite module codes to use exceptions when installing.
• FAQ Module.
• Drupal and Joomla import module.
• Use module paths for SEO Links as we do with menus and posts.
• Tickets system for admins to let us know if there is something wron in their admin and we (webmasters) can go in and fix those things fast and let them know in the ticket system too.
• Virtual keyboard for the login system
• Lightbox slideshow functionality
• Account validity module.
• Twitter module.
• Additional user datas module, like avatar, real name, birthday and so on.
• Flickr photos integration.
• Shoutbox module.
• OpenID integration.
• Shopping module send notification email when stoc is low
• Flag content possibility.
• Include youtube videos for defined keywords module.
• Audio/Video gallery module
• Piwik Module for web analytics (http://piwik.org)

At the moment there is no roadmap available so I can't provide you with deadlines or exact lists of what features to come with the next release but they will come and you can follow more closely the status of the development by following me on twitter.
