This module allows you to create newsletter lists, let people subscribe to them and send out newsletter emails. It uses a double-opt-in subscription system so it should be compatible with all hosting providers' TOS.

Requires jCore ver. 0.8 or above. Extends content codes with:
  • {modules}newsletter{/modules} - display (un)subscription form for all lists
  • {modules}newsletter/list-path{/modules} - display (un)subscription form for only the defined list

Is there any chance that there will be WYSIWYG system added to newsletter in future?

0.9 is almost finished so this won't make it in this release but I will add support for html emails for the 1.0 release so you will be able to activate it from settings and then massemail and newsletter will allow you to create the emails with the WYSIWYG editor.
