Manual install is only for advanced users. The recommended way to install jCore server and/or client is using the Installer. 

Below are the steps described to install jCore server, client and modules. You should have received an INSTALL file within your jCore packages which contain the same information but in case you got stuck please read the comments as they may be helpful.

  • Install jCore Server

* On Windows using WAMP please apply the changes below by clicking on the system tray WAMP icon and selecting:

  • Turn on rewrite module
    WAMP: Apache -> Apache Modules -> rewrite_module
  • Turn on gettext for translations
    WAMP: PHP -> PHP Extensions -> php_gettext
  • Hide notification messages
    WAMP: PHP -> PHP Settings -> display errors
